You may qualify for your penalties to be removed, through our rating policy. If you believe you meet the criteria for a penalty to be written off, you need to submit a written application requesting this. Before submitting the penalty removal request form, your outstanding balance needs to be paid in full, unless you have arranged an alternative payment agreement with the Regional Council.
If you choose not to pay the penalty amount and do not apply for a removal of this penalty the penalty balance will remain on your account.
